A quiet oasis in the countryside - just 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bike from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. A place for both peace and play. Relax in a newly built guest house with a loft, in a rural setting, with a bathing-friendly lake, beach and jetty around the corner - and the forest as a neighbor. It has everything for a fabulous stay with the family or a romantic break. Fully equipped, child-friendly and close to the heart of the city.

Sleeping accommodation: - One bedroom with double bed (160 cm) and wardrobes. This bedroom has a door and can be closed. - In the loft there are two single beds (90 cm) that can be put together into a double bed. - In the living room there is a day bed / sofa bed (120 cm) with sleeping space for 1-2 people. ⸻ Kitchen and living room: The open kitchen in the living room is fully equipped: - Induction hob, combi oven with microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. - Dishwasher, Moccamaster coffee maker, toaster, egg cooker. - All necessary kitchen utensils and crockery. - Dining table with four dining chairs - folding chairs are available to borrow if needed. - 65” TV with Chromecast. - Daybed/sofa with seating for 3-4 people. ⸻ Fully equipped bathroom: - Toilet and washbasin, commode with storage. - Shower with ceiling and hand shower and folding shower walls. - Combined washer/dryer. ⸻ General: - Waterborne floor heating and air heat pump with A/C. - Pleated blinds are available in all windows for light control and privacy.

Our guest house is located on Apollovägen in Hörestadhult, a quiet and safe residential area with about 15 houses along a quiet street. Here you live in a natural environment, but still with comfortable proximity to Vimmerby centre which is only 4 km away - 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bike. The area is surrounded by beautiful Småland nature with direct proximity to forest, lake and hiking trails. Lake Borstingen is just a few hundred metres from the accommodation and offers wonderful swimming opportunities at a municipal bathing area with beach and jetty. The lake is a natural spring lake, which makes it both clear and pleasant to swim in during the summer months. For those interested in nature, the forest is just a few steps away. Here you can pick mushrooms and berries in season or just enjoy long walks and winding paths in beautiful surroundings. It is perfect for those who seek peace, greenery and nature experiences, without being far from the city's offerings and activities.

Accès invité

The entire guest house with its wooden terrace is included in the accommodation. In the garden there is a trampoline and climbing frame and it is free to use and play in as well.

Distance parfaite d'Astrid Lindgrens Värld (10 min en voiture) La maison est presque neuve. Bien agencée. Bonne aire de jeux. À 300 m d'un beau lac de baignade. Accès facile à la recharge de voiture électrique (sans application) Correct Perfekt afstand til Astrid Lindgrens verden( 10 min i bil) Huset er næsten nyt. Godt indrettet. Tout est neuf, accès à une aire de jeux, un hamac et un trampoline quand on le souhaite. Proche d’un joli lac. Réponse rapide et sympathique des hôtes. Il faisait chaud dans la mezzanine mais c’était aussi parce qu’il faisait très chaud dehors. Helt nybyggt, tillgång till lekplats, hängmatta och studsmatta när man ville. Nära till en mysig sjö. Snabb och trevlig respons av värdarna Varmt på loftet men det var pga att det var väldigt varmt ute också

Nous avons visité Astrid Lindgrens värld pendant deux jours et avons séjourné ici durant notre visite. Le logement était proche du parc et disposait également d'une agréable plage à une courte distance à pied. C'était un super atout car il faisait presque 30 degrés. La climatisation dans la maison a également été très appréciée. Le logement répond aux attentes : super propre et équipé de façon moderne. Les lits étaient confortables et même le canapé-lit était bien ! Le grand jardin était parfait pour les enfants, et nous n'avions pas réalisé auparavant que l'aire de jeux faisait partie du terrain privé. Très apprécié ! Le soleil du soir sur la petite terrasse rendait les soirées barbecue encore plus agréables. L'endroit est calme, avec peu de circulation dans la rue juste devant. L'arrière donne sur un pré et une forêt. Les hôtes étaient très soucieux que notre séjour se passe bien et étaient très serviables. Je recommande ☺️ Nous avons seulement regretté l'absence de chaise haute pour notre plus petit. Vi besökte Astrid Lindgrens värld i två dagar och bodde under vår vistelse här. Boendet var nära parken och hade även en trevlig badplats en kort promenad bort. Det var ett superplus då vi hade nästan 30 grader varmt. Även ACn i huset var då uppskattad. Boendet lever upp till förväntningarna. Superfräscht och modernt utrustat. Sköna sängar och även bäddsoffan var bra! Den stora trädgården var kanon för barnen, och vi hade innan inte uppfattat att lekplatsen var en del av den privata tomten. Mycket uppskattat! Kvällssolen på den lilla uteplatsen gjorde grillkvällarna extra goa. Lugnt läge med lite trafik på gatan precis utanför. Baksidan hade utsikt över äng och skog. Värdarna supermåna om att vistelsen skulle bli bra och var väldigt service minded. Rekommenderar ☺️ Vi saknade barnstol till vår minsta.

Super fint! Fanns allt man kunde tänkas behöva. Härlig utemiljö för lek. Blivande 4 åringen ville flytta dit och gav betyget 1000 cm😝. Laddning av bil smidigt med app. Saknade möjligen mörkläggningsgardiner.

There is a bus stop only 500 metres from the accommodation, where you can take buses both towards Västervik and towards Eksjö/Nässjö via Vimmerby centre.
